Campaign: Older Adult Problem Gambling Awareness

“Have you checked your bets? Gambling for fun is okay, but it’s important to know your limits.”

Problem Gambling Awareness Month is a nationwide grassroots campaign, held annually in March, that seeks to increase public awareness of problem gambling and promote prevention, treatment, and recovery services.

For this year’s awareness campaign, Jackson County Health and Human Services enlisted our help to reach middle aged and older men with messaging that encourages healthy gambling habits and directs them to helpful resources from Oregon Problem Gambling Resource if their gambling has begun to affect their happiness, health, family, or finances.

Our ads targeted a variety of ethnicities, family types, and forms of gambling (such as sports betting, card playing, and casinos). We utilized a variety of media formats, including traditional radio and TV, internet radio and video, and social media & internet display placements.
